METRICS

A sampling of 40 out of 300 employees (13.3% of total) were measured to track the course of their health risk profile within a five-year period. The chart below illustrates a noteworthy reduction of their risk factors, migrating high-risk employees to moderate and moderate to low. The average age of this sampling is 44.6 years.

Another view of all 214 Pond participants shows a higher number of low-risk profiles than Corporate HealthPartner’s national average. Pond’s five-year sampling – in other words, a healthier workforce than most organizations of similar size. 

Controlling employee health risks also controls the healthcare cost trend.

MOVING AHEAD 

Corporate Health Partners and Pond continue to promote, advocate, and invest in the Prima company wellness program and are pleased with the noticeable cultural shifts in employee commitment to nutrition, exercise, and overall health. 

There will be a continued focus on engaging remote employees, stress reduction and management, and providing flexible ways for employees to get engaged, such as simulcasts of Healthy Break sessions and the launch of a bi-weekly weight loss empowerment group.
